We are considering some changes to the field layout. Some things that have been aired were to relocate the reviewing stand, flip the Athletic Field and the Contest/Performance Field or even combine the fields into one big community field.

One thing that the organizers are not is spectators. We need to hear from you all, our spectators. What are the best things about the main field areas. We wnat to make sure to keep these in tact.

Prefering positive feedback, if there is something that you feel just is NOT working and have a good suggestion for improvement, we will listen to these as well.

Remember, this is a moderated blog, only appropriate comments will be made visible… positive or negative, I promise.

We have heard from some of you and made some changes accordingly. We trying to satisfy all parties by providing a bit if everything this year. Hope it works.

Our large stage will feature music with a more contemporary feel. This year we will feature the Celtic energy of Rathkeltair. They will share the stage with a local favorite Keltic Kudzu.

Our smaller stage has Alex Beaton headlining. Joining Alex on this stage will be a folk group from the Metro Atlanta area called Vintage Voices.

The Metro Atlanta area has a growing number of performers and groups focusing on music of a Celtic nature (or derivatives thereof). We are discussing the addition of a third stage this year that will allow more of our local talent to be show cased at the festival. We are about 60% certain that this will come about this year so keep checking. We will post something soon about this.

Couple of limitations though. There is nothing short of leaving the park that can be done about the park entrance fee (they call it parking) or the food concessions (presently under the park’s total control). Everything else is on the table so give us your best shot.
